"Dial-A-Ride" paratransit service is available for persons with disabilities who are unable to use regular buses. JTS buses are accessible to individuals with disabilities and are wheelchair accessible. During peak travel periods JTS provides extra service routes. The Janesville Transit System (JTS) offers regular bus service Monday through Saturday on six routes inside Janesville, with the Beloit-Janesville Express operating weekdays between the two cities. After 6:15 on weekday evenings, 3 buses operate until 10:15 p.m. 15 of our 17 buses have permanent driver barriers installed. All buses are equipped with hand sanitizer dispensers, complimentary masks and onboard air purifiers.Wearing a mask on the bus or at JTS facilities is optional and a free mask is available for you upon boarding.All riders shall distance themselves from the driver and other riders.All able riders are asked to exit using the rear bus door only.All riders must deposit all fares directly into the farebox drivers cannot assist.Anyone displaying a cough, fever or shortness of breath should not enter the bus or JTS facilities.JTS Response to COVID-19: JTS continues to operate daytime and evening bus service and has implemented the following changes for everyone’s safety:
